Final words and plans

Dive into the wonders of the Black Sea with an interactive encyclopedia designed to spark curiosity, teach marine science, and inspire a new generation of Ukrainian ocean lovers through games, stories, and discovery.

The interactive encyclopedia is a digital storybook designed to spark curiosity and to foster exclusive knowledge about the Black Sea. As users scroll through, they’ll uncover vibrant underwater scenes and then test their knowledge in game-based interface!

The deeper they explore, the more intimate and thought-provoking the journey becomes.

What makes it special is its emotional honesty, cultural relevance, and a narrative voice rooted in lived experience.

Through questions and quizzes, more people will learn the problems and pearls of the Black Sea.

The interactive encyclopedia is designed as a two-player quiz game that brings marine science to life for children and teens.

It isn’t just about learning facts—it’s about remembering, feeling, and forming a bond with a sea many Ukrainians grew up near but never truly understood.

Each player has a button on their side of the device, and by pressing it, they generate a random number. This number points to a specific question in the encyclopedia.

Players take turns answering, compare their knowledge, and learn new facts as they go.

In the future, I hope to launch the encyclopedia in a full digital format and engage with local schools to bring it directly into classrooms.

If successful, I plan to print physical editions so even more children can access it—especially those without reliable internet.

This project is my way of making marine education playful, meaningful, and rooted in our region.
